Der Übersetzungsdienst VORTEXT für die Sprachen Englisch und Deutsch wurde 1998 von der heutigen Inhaberin KATRIN TRAPHAGEN mitgegründet. Als Juristin mit bilingualem Hintergrund hat sie sich auf juristische Texte spezialisiert.
VORTEXT bearbeitet aber auch Texte aus den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Marketing, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Marktforschung, allgemeine Technik u.v.m.
VORTEXT bietet folgende Dienstleistungen an: Übersetzung, Lektorat und Korrektorat deutscher und englischer Texte.

Dabei werden die Kapazitäten und Kompetenzen durch qualifizierte muttersprachliche Partnerübersetzer ergänzt, die ebenfalls fundierte Erfahrungen in ihrem Spezialgebiet mitbringen.

KATRIN TRAPHAGEN ist Volljuristin / Rechtsanwältin mit Deutsch als Muttersprache und Englisch als zweiter Muttersprache. Sie ist vereidigte Übersetzerin für Deutsch und Englisch am Obersten Gerichtshof von Südafrika.

The translation agency VORTEXT specialises in translating from and into English and German and was co-founded in 1998 by KATRIN TRAPHAGEN. As a lawyer with a bilingual background, Katrin Traphagen’s area of expertise lies in the field of legal translations but VORTEXT as a company offers a lot more, translating business, technical, financial and marketing texts (amongst others) in a fluent, linguistic style and offering a level of quality that is second to none. The VORTEXT service portfolio includes Translation, Editing and Proofreading from and into German and English.

Here the company can rely on a pool of qualified, native speakers who not only have considerable translating skills and experience, but are also highly competent in their own chosen field.

KATRIN TRAPHAGEN is a fully qualified lawyer and admitted to the German bar. She is a native bilingual with German as her first language and English as her second. She is accredited as a sworn translator of the High Court of South Africa in both German and English.
